ROBERT E. WOLFORD, 77, of Geneva, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012. Born in Fort Wayne, he was an
Army veteran and a Captain with the Fort Wayne Fire Dept. He was a member of West Missionary Church, Berne. He enjoyed playing pool at the Berne Senior Center and was an avid woodworker. He is survived by his wife, Janice Dausch Wolford; daughters, Janet Wolford of Fort Wayne, Dawn (Geoff) Waldau of Lithia, Fla. and Victoria (Doug) Wolford Osborne of Noblesville; step-daughter, Angie (Jeffrey) Miller of Ossian; stepson, Michael Dausch of Bluffton; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ina Wolford; and brothers, Herbert and James Wolford. Service is 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with visitation starting one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at the funeral home.
