Runners get ready to  kick-off the 10th annual Get Green Festival with the 5-Kilt - a 5K run/walk.   Saturday, March 13, 2010, runners will run the Rivergreenway for 3.1 miles starting and ending at the Calhoun Street cul-de-sac.  The race starts at 9:30 a.m and Kilts are encouraged.  Race day registration begins at 8 a.m.   Pre-register by clicking here or by mailing the registration form below (checks should be made payable to IAFF Local 124).   After the race runners are encouraged to stick around for the river greening, lunch and  the beer tent at Headwaters Park - West Pavilion as Fort Wayne Firefighters Local 124 celebrates St. Patrick's Day.  For more information contact Rod Salway at 260.609.5970.

The 56th annual Indiana state firefighter bowling tournament will be May 1-2 in Lake Station.  Gary fire will be hosting but will have the tournament in Lake Station with hotel and hospitality in Portage.  Whether you're good at bowling or not, fun times will be had by all.  For registration and hotel information contact Rob Kaiser at 2A, Jermaine Thomas at 7B, or Todd Hattery at 15C.  Please register by March 31!
