GARY D. WYMER, 68, died on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at home. Born in Kendall ville, he was a University of St. Francis graduate and United States Navy veteran. He married Carol Ann Deam in Fort Wayne, in 1981. He was a firefighter for the City of Fort Wayne retiring after 32 years, and a member of the Fort Wayne Professional Firefighters Union. Surviving are his wife, Carol Wymer of Avilla; daughters, Angela (Michael) Toles of Kendallville, Leslie (Kerry) Peel of Auburn and Kristin Gantz of West Chester, Ohio; son, Nathan (Shannon) Wymer of Cary, N.C.; nine grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Sharon) Wymer of Huntington and Charles (Gloria) Wymer of Churubusco; and sisters, Ruth Austin of Fort Wayne, Patricia (Robert) Easterday of Kendallville and Nancy (Robert) Myers of Cortland, Ohio. Funeral service is noon Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at the funeral home.
