.jpg) JEROME A. "JERRY" MORING, 78, of Chipley, went to be with the Lord Friday, Feb. 25, 2022. Jerry had a loving, large family and many close friends. He loved to work out, play handball and darts, and snow ski. Jerry also enjoyed being outdoors on the lake boating. He retired after 25 years of service from the Fort Wayne, Ind. Fire Department. Left to treasure his memory is his son, Dean A. (Denise) Moring; grandchildren, Brooke (Andrew) Cox, Megan Moring (Ross Gottschalk), and Danielle Moring; great-grandchildren, Callen and Cooper Cox; brothers, James (Kathleen) Moring and Ron (Alyce) Moring; sister, Mary Peltier; nieces and nephews, Steven (Jennifer) Moring, Connie (Eric) Voorheis, Paul Moring, Michael (Chris) Moring, Paige Peltier (Tim) Fenton, Nicole Peltier, Burke Peltier, Chris Pittman, Lisa (Joe) Anderson, Scott (Alexis) Moring, Michelle (Andy) Stacher, Heath Stanfield, Todd May, Ericha (Ricky) Laymon, Shana (Burt) Rumph, and Bria (Jordan) Willenborg. He also leaves behind several cousins and great-nieces and -nephews to honor his memory. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Everett E. Moring and Alice M. Underwood (Moring) Hageman; grandparents, Harry and Blanche Underwood; sisters, Marjorie Moring, Barbara Hogeland and Judith Stanfield; and niece, Ronna Wade Cox.
