Ernest H. Faurote, 94, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, June 22, 2023. He retired as a Firefighter with the Fort Wayne Fire Department. Ernie is survived by his children, Thomas (Cheryl) Faurote, Steven (Tami) Faurote, Susan Stauffer, and Mary Alberding; brother, Joseph Faurote Jr.; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ernie was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy (Lansaw) Faurote, in 2021.
