Cecil A Blain, 84, of Garrett, IN, passed away on November 19, 2024, in New Haven, IN. He was born on March 27, 1940, in Ft. Wayne, IN, to Grifford and Mayme (Wermanger) Blain.
Cecil served in the US Navy, and was an Assistant Fire Chief for Ft. Wayne Fire Dept. In 1993 he founded CA Blain and Sons Welding in Garrett.
Survivors include his son Michael J Blain, of Garrett; brother James Blain, of Austin, TX; sister Carol (John) Jump, of Stroh; grandchildren Stephanie Blain, Michael A (Jessie) Blain, and Austin Legere; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
